Took Princess to her Kindy’s orientation day this morning. Well, nothing much, just to meet her class teacher and pay up the remaining fees. Her uniform’s gonna come in next week, after school reopens, so not much can be done now except to do some revisions with her.
Hopefully, with all my painstaking days of teaching her the Alphabets & numbers will be paid off soon in her lessons. I dare not imagine how she would be next Wednesday with a bunch of crying kids in her class. I know for sure she would not cry but that’s still slightly early to be so sure.
I’m not hoping that she would be the best in her class but which parents would not hope that their kids do well in class? I guess it’s really time for me to let her off to wander and learn from experience rather than being protected by me.
Deep down, I hope that she would enjoy and not begging not to go to school because she hates it there. I guess excelling in her studies would be a big bonus… :P
